Metrics must be established to measure progress in reducing inequities for the first 5-10 years of the plan. These will focus on people who are facing barriers to climate action, and identify opportunities to increase equity alongside carbon emissions reductions.

This action will be led by the Region of Waterloo and the Area Municipalities. There is no publicly available update at this time.
