6.1.5Collaborate with Mennonite communities in the rural townships to build customized energy transition support to meet their unique needs

Mennonite communities in the region’s rural areas have unique energy needs, and will face unique challenges and opportunities as our community transitions off of fossil fuels. We must establish and maintain relationships with local Mennonite residents, and find solutions to ensure that these communities are not left behind in the transition to a low carbon future.

This action will be led by the Townships, with support from the Region of Waterloo. There is no publicly available update at this time.
