Description

These programs can lead to longer product lifespans and less waste going to landfills, while also creating jobs in the community. Because products are not replaced as often, there are fewer emissions associated with manufacturing and disposal of the products used in our community.

This action will be led by community capacity builders such as the Kitchener-Waterloo Library of Things. Please see below for the most recent publicly available updates.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Library of Things offer supports such as their Repair Café events that help the community come together to learn the skills to repair items to extend their use and lifespan, thus saving people money and reducing product waste. Check out the Kitchener- Waterloo Library of Things event page for their next Repair Café.
