4.2.3Build incentives or a local program for low to zero waste take-out options

Since local businesses share common challenges associated with eliminating or reducing the environmental impact of take-out containers, common solutions can be found. Programs such as returnable takeout containers used at many different businesses should be explored. Some local efforts are already underway, including local reusable takeout container programs Ekko (closed January 2021) and A Friendlier Company.
