3.1.12Integrate energy profiles of buildings and homes into real estate sales and leases

Energy profiles will allow buyers and renters to consider the operational energy costs of all buildings (both new and established) and any investments needed to upgrade the building to be carbon neutral by 2050.

This will generate greater demand and value for energy-related upgrades. Outreach to realtor boards and developers will ensure they understand and support this work.

A lead organization will need to be identified for this work. There is no publicly available update at this time.
