6.5.1Bring community organizations and local government together to collectively identify and communicate advocacy priorities to multiple levels of government

Our local climate goals cannot be achieved without supportive policies and regulations from provincial and federal governments.

By reaching consensus on the key issues, local organizations and municipalities can more effectively advocate for climate change policies that support our local climate goals. These key issues are to be identified by 2022.

This work will be led by the Region of Waterloo and Area Municipalities. There is no publicly available update at this time.
