Description

One of the barriers to building more sustainable buildings is the availability of expertise and trades that use the newest and best technologies. Collaborations with colleges and trades organizations will help prepare the workforce to construct the buildings of the future.

Public and private sector organizations can contribute to building capacity in the building sector by engaging their contractors to build net-zero carbon or net-zero carbon ready buildings, and learning the process together.

This work will need to be led by educational institutions such as Conestoga College and industry associations. There is no publicly available update at this time.
